What You'll Learn

  1. Asanas and Alignment:

    • In-depth study of yoga postures

    • Proper alignment, modifications, and use of props

    • Safe and effective sequencing for different levels

  2. Pranayama and Meditation:

    • Techniques for breath control and energy management

    • Various meditation practices to cultivate mindfulness and inner peace

  3. Anatomy and Physiology:

    • Understanding the human body in relation to yoga practice

    • Injury prevention and management

  4. Yoga Philosophy:

    • Study of ancient yogic texts such as the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali and the Bhagavad Gita

    • Exploration of yogic principles and ethics

  5. Teaching Methodology:

    • Effective communication and teaching skills

    • Class planning and sequencing

    • Hands-on adjustments and assists

  6. Practicum:

    • Supervised teaching practice with constructive feedback

    • Observing and assisting in live classes
