FAQs

  • Can I do Hot Yoga as a Beginner?

Yes! The heat is a powerful tool that helps you find deeper flexibility, cultivate strength to support it, and keeps you present. A heated yoga class is not inherently more or less advanced that an unheated yoga class.

  • How Should I Prepare for Hot Yoga?

Every body is different, but most feel better when they have not eaten too much before class (2-3 hours). The more you practice, the more you’ll get to know what feels best for you. It is important to drink plenty of water before class too - but if you drink too much right before or during class you might feel nauseous.

  • What Should I Bring to Hot Yoga?

You’ll need a mat, towel, and you’ll probably want a water. We have all of these things should you need to rent or buy them at the studio. Please note that for our Traditional Hot Classes, you are REQUIRED to have a towel if you rent one of our mats. Also, bring a change of clothes for after class - you will sweat!

  • What are the Benefits of Hot Yoga?

Hot Yoga can lower your blood pressure, improve posture, reduce stress, anxiety, back & neck pain, nourish the skin, improve blood circulation, muscle strength and flexibility. It can also reduce symptoms of joint pain, arthritis and insomnia. Not to mention the numerous documented benefits for your mind!

  • What is your Policy for Late Students?

We start class on time. If possible, the teacher will leave the door unlocked for up to 5 minutes after class starts, but this is not guaranteed. If the door is locked when you arrive late, please do not knock on the door. Please aim to arrive to class at least 10 minutes before class starts - every minute we start late is a minute taken from those who arrived on time!

  • Are there Showers at the Studio?

We do not have showers at this studio.
